MARTIAL ARTS AID TO UKRAINE

Martial arts charity event to raise much needed money in support of Ukraine.

There will be 4 styles, Kung Fu, Krav Maga, Tae Kwon Do and Karate; taking it in turns to teach for an hour each.The aim is to share practical self defence applications from each style.We suggest you bring a notepad and pen to take notes as there will be a lot of information.
Open to all styles and association. No politics, no egos!
 
COST:
There is no set charge for this event, but you will be invited to make a voluntary donation at the end depending on what value you feel you've received, this is to keep it affordable to family groups who might otherwise not be able to afford it.
 
AGE:
There will be some violent self-defence techniques, so this is mainly for adults. However, teenagers can attend with parental/instructor consent.
 
VENUE:
Norton Hill School Sports Centre, Main Hall, Norton Hill School, Charlton Road, Midsomer Norton, BA3 4AN.
 
DATE/TIME:
Saturday 2nd April, 11.00 to about 16.00.
 
THE INSTRUCTORS
Derek Skidmore, 4th Dan Tae Kwon Do:
Gold medallist in the English Championship for Destruction (art of breaking). Trained with some of the top names in practical martial arts and in Krav Maga for 2 years.
 
Mark Edwards, Level 5 Graduate Instructor:
Owner and teacher at Somerset Krav Maga. Former instructor with the Royal Marines and used to run his own close protection business providing bodyguard services.
 
Sifu Keith McKay Cormack
Trained in Judo, Aikido, Tae Kwon Do and Karate; before setting with Wing Chun & Choi Lee Fut Kung Fu. Mainly trained by Master Yuk Fai Wong a former Taiwanese Army Kung Fu champion.
 
Charlie Wildish, 5th Dan Karate:
Always preferred the practical side of Karate and trained with some of the top names as well as in Wing Chun, Tai Chi and a little Krav Maga.
