Welcome to the West Yorkshire Shotokan Karate Association (WYSKA).
We are a small, friendly Shotokan Karate group, training at Horbury and Batley.
Our training is based on a traditional syllabus with a combat effective bias, encompassing traditional Shotokan Kata and training methodology.
Everyone is welcome from 6 years upwards and the classes cater for all levels of fitness and ability, with everyone encouraged to go at their own pace.
You don’t need to be fit to join us, but you may well find that whilst learning and enjoying a traditional art, your fitness levels will improve.
The clubs are affiliated to the British Combat Karate Association, which allows WYSKA students to train with world renowned instructors from many disciplines of combat martial arts.
